Privacy Policy

What the app does on your device
- Camera and microphone record your takes. Recordings are written only to the app's own storage on your phone, and to your Photos library when you choose to save them there.
- Speech recognition lets the prompter follow your voice. Teleprompy uses Apple's on-device speech recognition; audio is processed on the phone and is not sent to us.
- Scripts you type or import are stored in the app's documents folder on your phone. You can see and delete them at any time, including through the Files app.
What we do not do
- We do not collect names, email addresses, identifiers, location, usage data or diagnostics.
- We do not use analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDKs.
- We do not upload, back up or view your recordings or scripts. Only you can share them, using the share sheet.
Purchases
Teleprompy Full is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple's payment system provides us with no personal details about you. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's privacy policy.
Diagnostics you can inspect
The app keeps a small technical log of its own behaviour (for example, when recording started and stopped) inside its documents folder on your phone, to help recover an interrupted take. This log never leaves the device unless you choose to send it to us yourself.
Children
Teleprompy is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
